I am an alumnus of Lafayette High School, the University of Mississippi (B.B.A.), and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div.). My wife, Paula, is from Fulton, Kentucky. We’ve been married since September, 1989, and have two daughters. Politically, I am an independent. Theologically, I'd describe myself as one third Calvinist, one third Lutheran, and 100% Baptist.
